How many crochet pumpkins have you made this fall? I’m at 10, and I can’t tell if it’s enough. So many lovely pumpkin patterns have popped up on my feed in the last month or two, and I want to make all of them. So far, I’ve stuck to the Double Twist Pumpkins since I needed a lot for the tutorials and pictures, but these 16 crocheted pumpkins patterns have me itchin’ for more.
These patterns cover just about every type of pumpkin you can think of — Halloween pumpkins, textured pumpkins, patterned pumpkins, leopard, lace, beaded… THEY’RE ALL SO GOOD! Depending on the pumpkins and colors you choose, your holiday decor will be perfect through Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Supplies / Materials
My favorite part about pumpkins is that they’re smaller and quick to work up, so they’re great for stash busting. Most of these patterns use worsted weight yarn, but a couple use chunky or bulky yarn. You can easily swap out yarn weights in order to increase or decrease the size of your pumpkin.
- Crochet hooks (try this bright set from WeCrochet, or you know I love my Furls hooks)
- Worsted weight yarn (I love Brava worsted from WeCrochet)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Stuffing or poly-fil
- Stems (try sticks, leather strips, wine corks, cinnamon sticks, actual pumpkins stems, or crocheted stems)
- Optional (but so cute!): Pumpkin leaf tags
