The Berry Cabled Dishcloth is a textured washcloth featuring vertical cables and a single crochet border. It was named after the juicy berry colors of cotton yarn used to create it — “Raspberry” Re-Up and “Blueberry” Sugar ‘n Cream. The cable texture is created using front-post double crochet stitches.

Since it’s crocheted with cotton yarn, the Berry Cabled Dishcloth is washable and can be reused over and over again. Whether you’re washing your face, cleaning dirty dishes, or creating a sweet gift basket for Mother’s Day, this dishcloth/washcloth is here for you.
Like most washcloths, the Berry Cabled dishcloth is a fast project that’s easy to whip up. There’s something so satisfying about a quick crochet pattern. Even if it’s the same amount of stitches, saying, “I made four dishcloths today” sounds so much better than “I crocheted 12 rows on an afghan.” Sometimes, we need a win NOW! And this pattern, ladies and gentlemen, is a win.
